Project Description
A new building next to existing, Stage 1 building in Runcorn. High technological climate control required.

 

GOLD COAST NRL STADIUM

Construction Period Is estimated to commence in April 2006 and end in October 2007.

Project Description
Stadium to house the new Gold Coast Titans team. Will be owned and operated by the Major Sports Authority.

Construction Period Construction will approximately commence in May 2006 and end the following year in May.

Project Description
This project connects the Queensland Health and David Longland buildings. Refurbishment will be undertaken including fit outs, facades, lifts and other mechanical equipment.

 

THE PRINCE CHARLES HOSPITAL (STAGE 2)

Project Description
Stage 2 comprises of 2 new medical wards, 120 new beds, additional renal dialysis facilities and a new high technology critical care unit.

Construction Period The time of construction is expected to take approximately 18 months, starting in November 2006.

Project Description
Combined courthouse, watchhouse and police station on one site with one contractor. Joint JAG/Police project.

 

GOLD COAST DESALINATION PLANT

Construction Period Due for completion 2nd half of 2008.

Project Description
State Government to fund detailed investigations into desalination facilities as a possible contingency measure for the Gold Coast. This project aims to filter 125 ML/day. The plant will include up to 4km of 2.8m ID tunnel in rock and two shafts up to 14m diameter.

 

GATEWAY UPGRADE

TRAVESTON DAM

Construction Period Stage 1 - completion by end of 2011; Stage 2 - the raising of the Borumba Dam by 2015; Stage 3 - completion of Traveston Dam by 2035.

Project Description
Located 16 kilometres south of Gympie in the Mary River catchment, the proposed Traveston Crossing Dam will deliver an additional 70,000 megalitres of water a year when Stage 1 is completed in 2011.
